Carcassing
Carcassing timber is kiln dried and high-pressure treated for a variety of internal and external structural uses.
Our carcassing timber is available in widths from 45mm up to 245mm and lengths from 2.4m up to 7.2m, with C24 graded timber offered in most cases.
Most commonly used for timber framing, flooring and roof joists, carcassing timber is also a great option for decking and pergolas.
What does E4E mean on carcassing timber? E4E stands for eased 4 edges, which means that they’re rounded making them easier to handle.
All our carcassing timber is sustainably sourced via the FSC or PEFC.
