Air Bricks
Air bricks play a key role in preventing moisture and mould problems in buildings by ensuring proper airflow. We stock a wide range of clay and plastic airbricks to suit your project. Our range of plastic airbricks connect to telescopic underfloor vents to help circulate fresh air.
Air bricks should never be blocked or filled in as this will reduce ventilation and increase the risk of moisture build up, leading to damp and mould problems.
Where should air bricks be located?
According to NHBC guidance, air bricks should be present on all sides of the building where possible and should be at least 75mm above landscaped areas to reduce the risk of flooding.
