The Stihl Ms171 is an excellent entry level chainsaw suitable for domestic use such as cutting down small trees, sectioning firewood and other small sawing tasks.



There's some great features that gear this saw towards domestic use. It’s super simple operation is controlled by a single lever which adjusts the starter, choke, throttle and stop, it is lightweight in build and there's a loop handle grip for extra stability.



Additionally it is very economic with a powerful 2-stroke engine which has a 2-mix system resulting in 20% less fuel consumption.
