Lightweight and shock-absorbing. The Makita BL1860B 18v 6.0amp battery is part of the Li-ion range, delivering 430% more working capacity during it's lifetime compared to Ni-Cad and is 40% Lighter than Ni-MH. The Li-ion has minimal depletion of power during use or in storage over it's lifetime.

Featuring a built-in memory chip that records the battery usage history, it transmits data to the charger, giving you insights into your tool usage when connected.
