Description
Make sure any loadbearing walls remain safely held in place with a Birtley box lintel. It’s ideal for use as a structural horizontal support in an opening in a wall or between two vertical supports. Thanks to its strength and reliability, the Birtley SB100 internal wall box lintel is often used in a building’s most vulnerable points, such as over windows and doors.
The loadbearing internal lintel from Birtley is hot-dip galvanised after its been fabricated, which provides 50% more zinc protection than other approved coatings. This leaves every surface with plenty of rust protection to make sure it lasts even longer. A standard duty box lintel can also be used for decorative purposes.
Installation Requirements;
1. Bed fully on bricklaying mortar.
2. Must be used with a cavity tray - External walls only.
3. 150mm Minimum end bearing.
