Description
Make sure your next build stays strong and supported with the Birtley cavity lintel. Ideal for use between two layers of bricks or blocks, this cavity wall lintel creates a space between the structure and safely carries the distributed load of brickwork. Whether you’re adding an extension or constructing a house, it’s an essential.
The Birtley CB90 standard duty cavity lintel is hot-dip galvanised after fabrication, which gives it 50% more zinc protection than other approved coatings. That means this is a lintel that will really last. You can also expect to see an improvement on SAP default value in thermal bridging, which will help to prevent energy loss and lower your heating and electricity bills.
Installation Requirements;
1. Bed fully on bricklaying mortar.
2. Must be used with a cavity tray - External walls only.
3. Lintels over 1500mm must be propped until masonry is fully loaded and cured.
