The Birtley CB150 standard duty cavity lintel is hot-dip galvanised after fabrication, which gives it 50% more zinc protection than other approved coatings. That means this is a lintel that will really last. You can also expect to see an improvement on SAP default value in thermal bridging, which will help to prevent energy loss and lower your heating and electricity bills.
Installation Requirements;
1. Bed fully on bricklaying mortar.
2. Must be used with a cavity tray - External walls only.
3. Lintels over 1500mm must be propped until masonry is fully loaded and cured.
