Full-bodied porcelain paving is a premium choice with the highest quality aesthetics. The materials in the body of a full-bodied flag is colour matched to the surface print. Full-bodied porcelain paving slabs are suitable for use on driveways when the appropriate foundations are in place.
Our Vitripiazza Bellezza Lite porcelain paving slabs are full-bodied.
Colour-bodied porcelain is a good choice for those where both style and budget are a consideration.
Colour-bodied slabs will have a flagstone body colour that differs slightly to that of the surface print, though once laid as paving this is immaterial.
These porcelain slabs are appropriate for garden pathway and patio use and where the design doesn’t require too much intricate cutting.
Our Vitripiazza Cava Stone porcelain paving slabs are colour-bodied.
The edges of the porcelain are machine cut after firing, giving a consistent size with 90 degree angles allowing for minimal joint widths and crisp lines.
All of our Vitripiazza porcelain paving ranges have rectified edges.
The edges of the porcelain are as fired and moulded; they are sorted into work size batches as they come out of the kiln.
There are up to ten potential work sizes that your batch could come in, so always check that your entire order comes from the same production batch. This way, it will make no difference as you install.
We don’t sell non-rectified porcelain, all of our paving has rectified edges.
Our Vitripiazza porcelain paving ranges are produced through the vitrification of it's component materials, i.e. clays, feldspar and siliceous sands. These materials are sintered through firing in kilns in excess of 1200ºC, compacting the elements which closes the pores and giving the porcelain its excellent technical properties that enable it to be a perfect choice for paving.
Vitrified porcelain paving is incredibly hard-wearing, absorbs little to no moisture and has great stain resistance. All Vitripiazza porcelain paving is vitrified, making it a perfect choice for domestic and commercial paving projects.
