Trupak Meltaway Rock Salt is intended for de-icing paths and roads.

It can be used to melt ice and snow fast or even as a preventative measure up to 24 hours in advance, preventing ice and snow sticking the surface in the first place. The added caking additive maintains spreading properties after prolonged storage.

This rock salt is supplied pre-packd in nominal 25kg bags which should be stored under cover and clear of the ground. Storage conditions should be dry and the bag should be protected from moisture and temperatures below 5˚C. Conforms to BS3247 1991 de-icing specification.
