Designed with an innovative closed micro-cellular structure, Thermalite’s aerated blocks feature tiny pockets of trapped air. This means that they’re not only highly resistant to fire and moisture, but cut down sound transmission too.
Thermalite blocks are made from 80% recycled content, including waste products from the UK’s power stations. This makes them an exceptionally sustainable building material with some serious green credentials. The excellent thermal insulation properties also help to retain heat, making U-value targets easier to achieve. A cost-effective solution for wall, floor and below-ground constructions, concrete aerated blocks are ideal for a wide variety of projects.
