The Makita SP001G 165mm (6-1/2) Brushless Plunge Cut Saw is a high-performance cordless precision cutting tool powered by the 40V Max XGT battery platform. Designed for professional woodworking, joinery and installation applications, it combines powerful cutting performance with outstanding accuracy and dust management. Equipped with Makita's Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS), the saw connects via Bluetooth to compatible dust extractors, automatically activating extraction when the tool is operated for a cleaner and more efficient working environment.
The SP001G features a brushless motor for enhanced efficiency, longer runtime and reduced maintenance, while constant speed control maintains cutting performance under load. Its precision plunge-cut design includes a depth stopper for splinter-free cuts and positive bevel stops at commonly used angles for quick and accurate adjustments. A rotatable dust nozzle with an innovative locking mechanism helps prevent unwanted movement during operation, improving extraction efficiency and user convenience.
