The Makita LS1018L 260mm Slide Compound Mitre Saw is designed to deliver exceptional cutting accuracy and versatility for professional tradespeople and demanding woodworking applications. Equipped with an integrated laser marker, it provides precise cut-line alignment for improved accuracy and can be operated independently when required. The advanced linear ball bearing slide system ensures smooth movement and consistently accurate cuts, while the soft start function gradually increases blade speed for enhanced control and refined operation.
For added safety and productivity, the LS1018L features an electric brake that quickly stops blade rotation after use. With an extensive mitre range of 60° to the right and 47° to the left, combined with bevel capability up to 45° in both directions, this saw offers outstanding flexibility for a wide variety of cutting tasks. Its lightweight yet robust design makes it ideal for site work and workshop use, including baseboard and crown moulding installation, cabinetry, furniture making, flooring projects, decking, and general construction.
