Description
The Makita HG5030K Heat Gun is a versatile and easy-to-use heating tool, developed as the successor to the popular HG5012 model. Powered by a robust 1,600W motor, it delivers adjustable airflow rates of 300 to 500 litres per minute and operating temperatures ranging from 350°C to 500°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of heating, stripping, drying and soldering applications.
Designed for user comfort and convenience, the HG5030K features an ergonomic soft-grip handle and a simple two-speed slide switch for quick adjustment of heat and airflow settings. Its flat rear housing allows the heat gun to stand upright independently, enabling hands-free operation when working with materials that require both hands.
Supplied in a convenient carry case, the heat gun includes four specialist nozzles to suit different applications. A glass protection nozzle helps prevent damage when removing paint from window frames, while the reflector nozzle directs heat evenly around pipes for soldering. The reduction nozzle concentrates heat for plastic welding applications, and the wide-slot nozzle distributes heat over a larger area for drying, thawing or paint removal tasks.
