Description
The Makita HG5030K Heat Gun is a versatile and easy-to-use heating tool, developed as the successor to the popular HG5012 model. Powered by a robust 1,600W motor, it features a two-speed airflow system delivering between 300 and 500 litres per minute, making it suitable for a wide range of heating, drying and stripping applications. Variable temperature settings from 350°C to 500°C provide excellent control for different tasks, while the ergonomic soft-grip handle ensures comfortable operation during prolonged use.
For added convenience, the HG5030K is designed with a flat rear surface, allowing the tool to stand upright for hands-free operation when working with materials that require both hands. Supplied in a durable carry case, it includes four specialist nozzles to maximise versatility across a variety of applications.
The included glass protection nozzle helps prevent damage when stripping paint from window frames, while the reflector nozzle directs heat around pipes for soldering tasks. A reduction nozzle concentrates airflow for plastic welding, and the wide nozzle distributes heat evenly for thawing, drying and other general-purpose applications.
