The Makita DHR281ZJ Twin 18V LXT Brushless SDS+ Rotary Hammer is a powerful and versatile cordless tool designed for drilling, hammer drilling and light chiselling applications. Powered by Makita's innovative Twin 18V LXT battery system, it delivers the performance of a 36V machine while benefiting from the flexibility of the LXT platform.
Featuring Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT), the DHR281ZJ significantly reduces vibration levels during operation, improving user comfort and helping to minimise fatigue during extended use. The Soft No Load function further reduces vibration when the tool is running idle, making it easier to accurately position the drill bit before starting work.
The rotary hammer is equipped with a convenient SDS-PLUS quick-change chuck, allowing rapid switching between accessories and enabling the use of a wider range of drill bits to suit different applications.
Its brushless motor delivers increased efficiency, longer runtime and reduced maintenance requirements, while also contributing to a more compact and lightweight design. For enhanced durability on demanding jobsites, eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) provides increased resistance against dust and water ingress.
A built-in slip clutch helps protect both the user and the tool if the bit binds during operation, and individual battery warning indicators allow users to easily monitor remaining battery capacity. An integrated LED work light improves visibility in poorly lit work areas, ensuring greater accuracy and productivity.
