The Makita DC18RD 7.2 - 18V Li-Ion/Ni-MH Charger comes with a built-in cooling fan system that blows cold air into the battery to keep it cool during the charging process, giving you a longer battery life. The display shows three active charging colours that will help you identify when and to what level the battery is charged, taking the guesswork out of the process.



This DC18RC charger is compatible with battery models BL1830, BL1430, BL3626, BL1415, and BL0710. If used with the charging adaptor ADP04, it can also charge Ni-Cad and NiMH rod and block batteries up to 18V.



The DC18RD Will charge 18v and 14.4v LXT slide batteries in the below times:



3.0Ah - 22 minutes

4.0Ah - 36 minutes

5.0Ah - 45 minutes

6.0Ah - 55 minutes
