Strong and built to last, a hessian sandbag is a handy addition to your next DIY job or construction project. A standard hessian sandbag can be filled with sand and used as a defence against flooding.







Simply fill with sand and seal together using the attached tie string, before placing where needed to barricade against water flow. It’s ideal for stacking near a dam or a river when heavy rain is forecast.







It can also be used to hold down traffic signs on roads and to place near leaks to contain water. This hessian sandbag comes with a tie string but is unfilled, so sand is not included.
