The Festool HLC 82 is a compact cordless planer for quick fitting and adjustment work on site or in the workshop. Use it to chamfer beams, smooth edges on timber wall boards, cut rebates on doors, or trim skirting and infill panels.
Its brushless EC-TEC motor keeps power steady even at full depth. It removes up to 2.5 mm per pass and cuts rebates up to 25 mm deep. The spiral blade makes a drawing cut, so it leaves a very fine finish and runs much quieter. Two separate extraction channels let it handle longer jobs with heavier chip removal, and you can fit the extractor connector on either side to keep the hose out of your way.
It works with all Festool 18V batteries except the Ergopack. For the best power and runtime, use it with a 5.0 Ah or 8.0 Ah Li-HighPower battery.
Please note: use only with the HW 82 SD HLC 82 spiral blade (577999). HL 850 planing heads are not compatible.
