Team Elliotts Complete Gruelling 560 Mile Cycle Ride to Raise Money for Local Charity

Team Elliotts have done it!

12 of Team Elliotts completed the tough 560-mile cycle ride around Brittany to raise money for our Charity of the Year, Home-Start Hampshire. 

On Thursday 26th September, Team Elliotts began their 3-day challenge, starting in St. Malo, cycling to Morlaix and Quimper, before finishing our 560-mile ride in St. Malo on Saturday 28th September.

The French weather wasn’t the best for them, with heavy rain and gale force winds, but they battled the elements to raise money for our chosen charity. 

Team Elliotts smashed their initial fundraising target of £10,000 and raised an amazing £20,942.50! Half of the money raised will go to our staff-nominated Charity of the Year, Home-Start Hampshire, an organisation that trains volunteers to provide regular support and practical help to families under stress to help give their children the best possible start in life.

The other half of the money that our team raised will go to Challenge Adventure Charities' main supported charities, Cancer Research and the British Heart Foundation. 

Challenge Adventure Charities was founded by our chairman, Stuart Mason Elliott. The organisation has raised over £4.5 million since 1996, and 100% of the money raised goes to good causes.
