Do you want to find an apprenticeship and launch a career in customer service? Would you like to start a career in one of the South’s longest running businesses?


Great news! We’re looking for 13 new apprentices to join our successful apprenticeship scheme.


You’ll join us at the heart of Elliotts as a Level 2 Customer Service apprentice. As a key member of the team, you’ll work in one of our branches and learn everything you need to support our customers and help them build.

Become more than a customer service representative

Our Customer Service apprenticeship isn’t just about serving customers and taking money. You’ll learn about how the branch runs by:

  • Learning about the products and services that we offer to customers. 
  • Helping our customers get all the materials they need for their projects face to face (in a Covid-secure way), via the phone and by email.
  • Keeping our shelves and yards stocked with the right products. 
  • Working closely with our product specialists and offering support to other branches.

What will I learn on my apprenticeship? | Elliotts

What branches are the apprenticeships available at?

We have Level 2 Customer Service apprenticeships available in Bishop’s Waltham, Chandler’s Ford, Christchurch, Fareham, Fordingbridge, Lymington, Ringwood, Romsey, Portsmouth, Southampton, Tadley, Totton and Winchester.


What qualification will I get?

Through your work based learning, after 13 months you’ll have a Level 2 Customer Service qualification.

How much will I get paid?

We pay £5 per hour while you’re doing your apprenticeship training.

How many hours will I work each week?

As an apprentice, you’ll work 40 hours per week in one of our branches. 20% of this time will be spent on your apprenticeship.


What ages is the apprenticeship open to?

This apprenticeship is open to anyone from the age of 16! So whether you’re fresh out of school or an adult looking for a career change, our apprenticeships are open to all.
