Duties and Responsibilities:

Your New Role:

It's an exciting time to join the team; we're creating a People Strategy, and we'd love for you to contribute to that; with ideas, experience and implementation skills.

The main part of the role is supporting our Branch Managers, and our approach is a coaching one - helping them upskill.  You'll be offering commercially sound solutions, based on evaluated risk.

You'll be dealing with everything through the complete employment cycle from recruitment to leavers.

You'll also be involved in some interesting projects we're working onto further improve our employee experience.


Requirements: 

You'll need the following to be Successful.....

  • Experience of working in an HR Advisor Role (preferably including an SME), incorporating employee relations and coaching
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Comprehensive Employment Law, understanding & interpretation, commercial awareness and risk assessment
  • Project Management Skills, ie research, recommendations, driving projects through to completion
  • You'll also need the ability to evaluate and diagnose complex cases, producing practical solutions.
  • Belief in the delivery of a high quality, customer orinetated service
  • Exceptional organisation and prioritising skills to juggle a high volume of tasks
  • Ideally you will be CIPD qualified to Level 7, but relevant experience is more important
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with staff at all levels
  • It goes without saying that as an HR proefessional you'll have first rate written skills
  • A team-player who doesn't mind "mucking in"
  • Competent IT Skills in MS Office packages
  • An understanding of pension & payroll administration would be advantageous
  • Finally, you'll need to drive, as we're multi-site across Hampshire.
