Admin Assistant

We currently have a vacancy within our specialist Engineered Wood Product Team. This role will be based within our very busy Sales Hub and involves a strong element of administration. The main focus of the role will be to ensure all administration is organised in an efficient and methodical way as well as supporting other members of the team. It will also include dealing with enquiries and orders, maintaining existing sales whilst seeking opportunities to develop new business for Engineered Wood Products.

EWP Supervisor
40 hours, 8am-5pm Monday – Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Effectively dealing with customers both over the phone and face to face from the initial enquiry stage and then following the sales process through from start to finish. This will include but not limited to:
    • Producing quotes
    • Raising orders
    • Invoicing
  • Efficiently organising and maintaining all administrative elements of the role
  • Contributing to the team effort; dealing with a wide variety of queries/requests etc that arise in the department
  • Supporting both our on and offsite teams with their customers and where necessary take on the role as their point of contact

  • Strong organisation skills with a methodical approach
  • The ability to communicate effectively, face to face, via email and telephone
  • The ability to work effectively and professionally with our current customers and suppliers is extremely important, as is the ability to forge new relationships with prospective customers and suppliers
  • The ability to work well with both the team and colleagues within our Branch network is essential.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
