Fence post top tips:
- Fence posts should be at least 2ft longer than your fence panel. So a 6ft (1.8m) fence panel requires an 8ft (2.4m) post.
- Add some shingle or gravel to your posthole before adding the post and cementing in. This will help moisture drainage and delay the bottom of the post deteriorating.
