Southampton’s Andy Clark has been awarded Highly Commended at the PETA Apprentice of the Year Awards.
On March 5, Andy attended a ceremony at PETA’s headquarters in Cosham where he beat 400 applicants to gain Highly Commended for his commitment to his Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business.
The awards were presented to apprentices who have worked extremely hard in achieving their goals through developing their own abilities and showing true determination to succeed.
Andy said: “It was a brilliant afternoon and being awarded with a Highly Commended for the business category was fantastic. It’s made me more determined than ever to continue with my studies and learn as much as I can on the job.
“I want to say a special thank you to our Jon Coleman, our Sales Office Supervisor in Southampton
, who has been one of the best mentors I could ask for. His guidance has been incredibly valuable, and I couldn’t have done it without him."
Branch Manager, Richard Sheath, added: “Andy is a brilliant character who is eager to learn and get stuck in with any tasks that come his way. The award was given to him because of his outstanding commitment to personal development and excellent progression through learning whilst undertaking his Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business.”
