Key Accounts Co-Ordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our newly formed Key Accounts team, co-ordinating the efficient supply of products to our key accounts (national house builders), maintaining good relations, and supporting further growth of new accounts.

Key Accounts Manager
40 hours, 8am-5pm Monday – Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinating supply of products to customer sites – liaison with internal branch staff providing notice of site requirements including sufficient time to order products and prepare orders to customer requirements
  • Building relationships with site staff and company buyers, ensuring customer expectations are maintained and improved as necessary
  • Preparing quotes for goods as required; this will include take off from plans and requests from sites and buyers
  • Proactively look for sales opportunities from existing and new customers, contributing to higher sales and margins
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability and develop business opportunities
  • Good all round knowledge of building materials
  • Ability to understand and interpret building plans to produce take offs and quotes (desirable, training can be provided)
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • General IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Methodical work process to ensure high standards and accuracy are maintained throughout
  • Ability to work on own initiative and motivate others
  • Plan and organise workload to meet strict deadlines
